My name is Doug Luthringer and I am an internet auction professional who specializes in eBay Selling, Website Search Engine Optimization Consultations and Google AdWords strategy implementation.

  • BS degree in Operations Management from Penn Sate with an emphasis in eCommerce and Business Communications.

  • Participated as a panelist at Penn State Erie, The Behrend College to discuss and answer questions about my success.

  • United States Marine Corps veteran and I achieved the rank of Sergeant in less than four years and was awarded the Navy Achievement Medal.

  • In January of 2007, I was featured on WICU-TV 12 News in Erie, PA to discuss best business practices when selling on eBay and how have more confidence when buying on eBay.

  • In December of 2006, I presented to Penn State Erie MBA students and government professionals how to begin to use reverse auctions.

  • In November of 2006, I presented to over 300 people at 4 state-level government associations' conferences about reverse auctions.

  • In October of 2006, I successfully sold a semi-truck for a commercial financial lending institution for $17,600 which was $2,600 more than they expected to get.

  • In October of 2006, I presented the topic of reverse auctions to the Purchasing Directors and Managers of the BIG 10 purchasing consortium in State College, PA and business school students at Penn State Erie, The Behrend College in Erie, PA.

  • In September of 2006, I presented to over 25 elected and appointed public officials on the topic of reverse auctions.

  • In June of 2006, I was invited to be a guest speaker for Penn State Erie MBA students about the application and strategy used for B2B reverse auctions.

  • In June of 2006, I taught the Beyond the Basics: Advanced eBay Selling Techniques course at the Corry Higher Education building in Corry, PA in collaboration with the Gannon University SBDC and The Center for eBusiness and Advanced IT.
